How Sick Is Too Sick - to send your student to school?

Send to school if:

-student has a runny nose or just a little cough, but no other symptoms

-student hasn’t taken any fever reducing medicine for 24 hours and hasn’t had a fever during that time

-student hasn’t thrown up or had any diarrhea for 24 hours



Keep student at home if:

-student has a temperature higher than 100 degrees even after taking medicine

-student is throwing up or has diarrhea

-student’s eyes are pink and crusty



Call the doctor if:

-student has a temperature higher than 100 degrees for more than two days
