Kindergarten is such an important year in your child's life and in many ways sets the tone for their entire school career.  As your child's first teacher it is my goal to ensure that each child has a positive school experience.  My enthusiasm for teaching, love for children, and my patience provides a warm, nurturing environment in which each child feels cared for, important, and loved. I value students' creative ideas and enjoy working as a partner with parents to provide the best possible education.  I strive to have a strong academic program presented in a fun and enthusiastic manner.  I desire for each child to love school and encourage them to be all that they can be and always do their best.  One of my favorite quotes is, "To teach is to touch a life forever."  I became a teacher to make a difference in the lives of my students.  My most valued moments are when a child discovers or learns something new.  If I touch the lives of my students in such a way that they love school, love learning and discovering, and believe in themselves, then I have succeeded.
