Children learn best when they enjoy what they're doing.  The task of the teacher is to discover what children experience as it pertains to each subject.  Even difficult work can be pleasurable if the learner knows what they are working on.   Learning is a lifelong process, and it never ends.  To discover, to see, find, or learn for the first time is what teaching is all about.
