Mrs. Mann, our school librarian at Meadow Lane School for the last twenty years, has been selected as the Cascade Support Services Employee of the Year.

Mrs. Mann has influenced and lead many students to become lifelong readers. Mrs. Mann has helped that relunctant child find that one book that might interest them. Suddenly, that same child is back again for another book and the rest is history. Mrs. Mann takes pleasure in reading to each classroom during their weekly visit to the library. Even our old student enjoy our librarian reading to them. Mrs. Mann not only relishes books, but equally enjoys children and in turn, they enjoy her. The same can be said of our teachers and staff. Mrs. Mann is very much appreciated.

Mrs. Mann has fought to keep our books replenished and our library up to date. In addition, she has increase the volume of book titles in our library despite the budget being decreased each year. To help offset her dwindling library funds, Mrs. Mann put on a yearly book fair that is well received by our community.
