Many of you are familiar with our policy and procedure to volunteer at Meadow Lane School. Those who were volunteers and issued a clearance badge last year will automatically be renewed upon a Megan's Law background check. New parents must fill out the Megan's Law form and also pass this same background check. In addition, all new parents must attend one of the principal's orientation for volunteers. After these two steps, a badge to be on campus will be issued. The badge remains in the office and can be checked in and out there. If you are want to attend a field trip or volunteer in your child's classroom, parents must first speak with the teacher to see if there is a need. Do not show up for a field trip or come into a classroom without first checking with your child's teacher. To assure safety, no parents or adults may be on campus or in a room without first checking into the office. As you are aware, these policies are in place to keep our school and your children safe. Protecting the safety of your child is our number one priority.
