Next generation science education teachers in Kindergarten through Second Grades at Meadow Lane Elementary School have recently been presented awards for their efforts the past two years improving Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics in Shasta County classrooms. These teachers have been attending workshops during the summer and during the school year. Classroom instructional time has been dedicated to presenting and conducting experiments with their students during the school year, and traveling to other county school sites observing other methods of STEM presentation, collaboration, and implementation. This opportunity became available through a two year grant partnership with the Shasta County Office of Education. Congratulations to a job well done!
