  Welcome to Meadow Lane Elementary School Library

Thank you for the warm reception into the Meadow Lane Family.  I have worked at Verde Vale Elementary School Library for the past four years, and been associated with the district for twelve years.  I have a passion for library science and hope to instill the joy of reading with the children of our school district.

The Cascade Union Elementary School District reorganization and reconfiguration plan is in place.  Two of our best librarians, Mrs. Mann from Meadow Lane and Mrs. Possehn from Anderson Heights, have retired.  What remains is the moving and reclassifying of our library collections for the remaining schools; an enormous project.  Fortunately, Mrs. Mann and Mrs. Possehn have agreed to help us through this transitional process.  So, we will be seeing them on campus throughout the district, often.

I am thrilled to be your child's librarian for grades Preschool through Second.  This will be an exciting year of new faces, new ideas, wonderful planning and implementation, and of course, academic success.  I am proud to be a part of this process.
